Bubl Cloud Cookie Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At Bubl Cloud, we believe in privacy by default. Unlike most of the internet, we do not follow you around with trackers or advertisements. This policy explains exactly how and why we use cookies.

  1. The Short Version

    • Public Website: We do not use any cookies on our general public-facing website. You can browse anonymously.
    • Bubl Store & Platform: We use "Strictly Necessary" cookies only. These are required to keep you logged in, secure your Datavault, and make the application function.
    • No Tracking: We do not use cookies for advertising, marketing analytics, or selling your data to third parties.
  2. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work or work more efficiently.

  3. How We Use Cookies

    A. General Public Website (www.bubl.cloud)

When you visit our general informational website, we do not set any cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, or other tracking scripts on our public pages.

    B. Bubl Store and Cloud Platform (The App)

When you log in to your Bubl account, visit the Bubl Store, or access your Datavault, we use Strictly Necessary Cookies. Under EU law (ePrivacy Directive), these cookies do not require your consent because they are essential to provide the service you requested.

We use these cookies for the following purposes:

    • Authentication & Login: To remember who you are so you don't have to log in on every single page click.
    • Security: To prevent "Cross-Site Request Forgery" (CSRF) attacks and ensure that the person trying to access your Datavault is actually you.
    • Session Management: To remember your "state" as you navigate the Store (e.g., keeping items in your installation queue or remembering your preferences during that specific visit).
    • Load Balancing: To ensure your connection is routed to the correct server where your encrypted Datavault resides (e.g., cookies set by our security provider, Cloudflare, for traffic management).
  4. Cookies from Third-Party Apps

The Bubl Store offers applications created by third-party developers (e.g., "Merchant Apps") or open-source communities.

    • Bubl's Role: The cookies described above are for the Bubl Platform infrastructure.
    • App's Role: Once you install and open a specific App (e.g., a third-party CRM or Chat tool), that App functions as its own software inside your Datavault. That specific App may use its own session cookies to function.
    • Responsibility: The use of cookies by installed Apps is governed by the privacy policy of that specific App developer, not Bubl Cloud. However, because your Datavault is isolated, these Apps cannot easily "track" you across other sites outside your Datavault.
  5. Managing Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you disable strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to log in or use the Bubl Cloud platform, as the system will not be able to verify your identity.

  6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we introduce any non-essential cookies (like analytics) in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent via a cookie banner as required by law.
